Kerry Will Win

Ok, I'll go out on a limb and make a prediction. Kerry will win, and it won't be by a tiny margin. He'll definitely win the popular vote, and will win ~ 300 EV's.

Every four years you hear talk about all the new voter registrations and how they'll change the face of the election. Every four years they don't seem to make much difference. This year they will. 10000 new registrations in my own county in Illinois--a state that isn't even up for grabs. Thats how many people want a voice in this election.

The main reason for people to register is for *change*--not for the status quo.

So, we'll see in a few days, but I'm predicting a Kerry win.

Well, obviously this prediction didn't work out.

That's OK. You didn't realize that there were even more disaffected GOP voters than there were Democratic voters, and that we've learned a thing or two about getting our voters to the polls. The Dems in 2004 did a tremendous job of registering voters and getting them to the polls, but we beat them at their own game.
